June 16, 2009 Minutes <br />Housing & Redevelopment Authority <br />Commissioners present: Peterson, Youngberg, Marchwick, Jurchen, Nagel. Also present: <br />Director O'Brien, Assistant Director Anderson, tenants and Mayor Nancy Adams. <br />5:00 P.M Chairman Peterson called to order the regular meeting of the Housing Authority. <br />Consent Agenda approved. M/ Youngberg S/Nagel. All ayes motion carried. <br />West Grove <br />1. Approved 2010 budget consisting of a rent reduction from $725, and $830 to $595, and <br />$695. This will have to go through several channels before it is officially approved as this is <br />a bond financed project. M/ Peterson S/Nagel. All ayes motion carried. <br />2. Approved extending the KLKS radio advertising for another 90 days. M/ Marchwick <br />S/Peterson. All ayes motion carried. <br />Sibley Terrace <br />Possible Insurance Claim —a resident fell on the sidewalk at Sibley. There were not any <br />defects in the sidewalk and it has been reported to our insurance company. <br />Parkview <br />Rural Development has approved the budget <br />Going ahead with the budgeted items on the capital improvement plan as we can afford them. <br />1. Front door at Parkview I <br />2. Cameras at Parkview II <br />The resident group has reformed and elected officers <br />MHFA conducted a site inspection and file audit for Parkview this month and everything went <br />well. <br />CMHP will be inspecting Parkview in Early July as a part of the continuing compliance for <br />HOME funds <br />Alpine <br />Rural Development has approved the budget for this property <br />Executive Directors Report <br />National Night out — staff would like to reschedule the June 25h BBQ to coincide with National <br />Night Out on August 4. Pequot Lakes Police Department has been contacted to see if there are <br />any activities they can bring that night. <br />
