Audit Presentation <br /> Ashley Meagher with Schlenner Wenner and Company reviewed the 2019 Audit <br /> Report with the Council and explained the audit process. Ms. Meagher stated <br /> the audit went well, the City practices and processes are standard, and the City <br /> is in good financial condition. <br /> Council Member Swanson asked if the increase in the Highway 371 fund from <br /> 2018 to 2019 was due to interest. Ms. Malecha stated that there was significant <br /> interest and there is also funds being levied in the Highway 371 Fund to pay back <br /> the interfund loan that is being utilized for the maintenance facility project. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2019 AUDIT <br /> REPORT. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 6. PlanninQ and Zoninq <br /> 6.1. Planninq Commission Report <br /> The May 27, 2020 Planning Commission Report and May 21, 2020 draft <br /> Planning Commission minutes were received by Council. <br /> 7. Fire <br /> The April 2020 Fire Department Operations Report was received by Council. <br /> 8. Police <br /> The April 2020 Police Department Monthly Report was received by Council. <br /> Chief Klang informed the Council that there will be a peaceful protest tonight at <br /> 8:30 p.m. and will conclude at midnight. He stated he is not expecting anything <br /> more than a peaceful protest and does not expect it to be large. <br /> Discussion ensued about it remaining peaceful and staying at the bridge. Chief <br /> Klang stated that police will be in the area but they will hang back. <br /> 8.1. Reauest to Hire Police Serqeant <br />
