AGENDA ITEM # 9.4 <br /> �eC=� of <br /> quot <br /> Lakes= -- <br /> REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Jason Gorr— Public Works Director <br /> Date: June 2, 2020 <br /> Subiect: Wastewater Treatment Plant Certificate of Commendation <br /> Report: The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has again awarded the <br /> City's Wastewater Treatment System a Certificate of Commendation for the past <br /> year. Our system has been given this award every single year they've been eligible <br /> to receive it. This recognition is given to reflect when a system and its operators <br /> have a year in full compliance. Not only does this mean all test results were within <br /> desired ranges and recommendations, but also that they were submitted in a timely <br /> manner. <br /> I'd like to personally recognize the ongoing professional efforts of our contracted <br /> operators from Pine River Area Sanitary District. Their training, professionalism, <br /> and great work ethic help keep our City's residents, environment, and local <br /> businesses safe. Even during stressful times such as the COVID-19 pandemic and <br /> the Rasmussen Road Project, they continue to work hard, show up and provide <br /> very valuable services to the City of Pequot Lakes. <br /> Council Action Requested: Council acknowledgement and appreciation to the <br /> contracted operators from the Pine River Area Sanitary District for the valuable <br /> services they provide our community. <br />
