Pe�quQt Lakes Police Monthly Repa�t January 2020: During the month of January (15Y-315Y), the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a record of 220 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: • 911 Hang up • Agency Assist • Civil Problem • Disturbance • Driving Complaint • EMS • Extra Patrol • Gun Permits • Noise Complaint • Property Damage Accident • Suspicious Vehicle • Tobacco Violation Notable Calls: On 1/3/20, Officer Matt Jorgens responded to an address in Ideal Twp to assist the Crow Wing Co Sheriff's Office and Crosslake Police. Reporting party called 911 and advised they were holding down a male that was schizophrenic and experiencing hallucinations. Officers Jorgens and Crosslake ofFicer safely detained the subject until deputies arrived and stood by for officer safety. Male was transported to the hospital. On 1/8/20, Chief Eric Klang and Officer Ryan Franz responded to a rollover crash on Co Rd 17. Single occupant of the vehicle was treated for minor injuries on the scene.The young female driver was unaware of how icy the road conditions were that day. On 1/28/20, part time Officer Rachel Boggs responded to an address in Jenkins. The female called dispatch and advised that she had warrants and would like to turn herself in. Officer Boggs took the female into custody and transported her to the Crow Wing Co jail without incident.
