Solar ener�vstems must meet the following height requirements: <br /> A. Roof-mounted solar energ,y svstems shall not exceed the maximum_hei�ht <br /> allo�ved in the zoning district in which it is located. <br /> B, Ground-mounted solar energy svstems shall not exceed io feet in height when <br /> oriented at maximum tilt. <br /> 2. Location and Setbacks. Solar ener�ystems must meet the accessorv structure <br /> setback for the zoni�district on which the.s sv tem is located. <br /> A. Roof-mourited Solar Ener�ystems. In addition to the building setback, the <br /> collector surface and mountin� de��ices for roof-mounted solar ener�y svstems <br /> shall not extend beyond the e�cterior perimeter of the building on which the <br /> ��stem is mounted or built, unless the collector and mounting svstem has <br /> been explicitiv en�ineered to safelv e�end bevond the ed�e, and setback <br /> standards are not violated. E}cterior�i�in�for solar hot water systems shall <br /> be allowed to extend beyond the�erimeter of the buildin� on a side vard <br /> exposure. <br /> B. Ground-mounted Solar Energy Systems — Uround-mounted solar ener�v <br /> svstems located on parcels less than five acres must be located in the rear <br /> vard. Ground-mounted solar ener��systems shall meet accessorv structure <br /> setback requirements when oriented at minimum desi�n tilt. <br /> 3. VisibilitY. Solar ener�vstems shall be designed to blend into the architecture of <br /> the buildingor be screened from routine view from ad'a�cent properties and the <br /> public ri�ht-of-wavs other than allevs. <br /> 4. Decommissionin� Ulan. A decommissioning plan ma�be required for lar eg solar <br /> ener��st� ems to ensure that facilities are properly removed after their useful <br /> life. Decommissioning of solar�anels must occur in the event they are not in use <br /> for t�n�eh�e (i2)_consecutive months._The plan shall include�ro��isions for removal <br /> of all structures and_foundations, restoration of soil and ve�etation and a�lan <br /> describin�_the financial_resources that �vill.be_available to f_ull�decommission the <br />
