Economic Development Commission <br /> Ms. Malecha presented the project priorities for the EDC: <br /> • Workforce Housing <br /> • Pequot Lakes Incentive Program <br /> • Marketing of the Heart of the Good Life <br /> Development <br /> • Invest in recreational space in the Heart of the <br /> Good Life Development <br /> Ms. Malecha stated that at the morning EDC meeting the <br /> Commission added the Welcoming Community Advocacy Group <br /> process to their priority listing. <br /> C. Park Commission <br /> Dan Ronning presented the project priorities for the Park <br /> Commission: <br /> • Trailside Park <br /> o Install splash pad on north side <br /> o Work with the Bean Hole Days Committee <br /> to improve the Bean Hole pot area <br /> o Install electrical outlets along Government <br /> Drive for holiday decorating <br /> o Improve the parking lot by the playground <br /> • Dog Park <br /> o Add silhouettes <br /> o Add trees <br /> Mayor Tayloe inquired about the plan for the parking lot and how <br /> can the design keep Builders FirstSource trucks from using that <br /> space. Mr. Gorr stated that Builders FirstSource may have a plan <br /> for an alternate route for their deliveries. <br /> Commissioner Swanson inquired about the bathroom/outhouse at <br /> Sibley Park. Mr. Ronning stated that the Public Works Department <br /> repaired/painted the outhouse at the park. <br /> D. Planning Commission <br /> Dawn Bittner and Andrew Birch presented the project priorities for <br /> the Planning Commission: <br /> • Evaluate the gateways into town, County Road <br /> 11/Main Street and both Patriot Avenue <br /> intersections, to be made more inviting and <br /> welcoming to the City <br />
