City of Pequot Lakes DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing <br /> Title: Definitions Effective Date: 2-4-20 <br /> Effective Date(s)of Amendment(s): <br /> Collection Site: <br /> A place designated by the City where drivers present themselves for the purpose of providing a <br /> specimen of their urine or breath to be analyzed for the presence of alcohol or controlled <br /> substances.3a <br /> Commercial Motor Vehicle: <br /> A motor vehicie or combination of motor vehicles used in commerce to transport passengers or <br /> property if the motor vehicle (1) has a gross combination weight rating or gross combination <br /> weight of 26,001 or more pounds, whoever is greater, inciusive of a towed unit(s) with a gross <br /> vehicle weight rating or gross vehicle weight of more than 10,000 pounds, whichever is greater; <br /> or (2) has a gross vehicle weight rating or gross vehicle weight of 26,001 or more pounds, <br /> whichever is greater; or(3) is designed to transport sixteen (16) or more passengers, including <br /> the driver; or(4) is of any size and is used in the transportation of materials found to be in the <br /> transportation of materials found to be hazardous for the purposes of the Hazardous Materials <br /> Transportation Act (49 U.S.C. 5103(b)) and which require the motor vehicle to be placarded <br /> under the Hazardous Materials Regulation.3s <br /> Confirmation (or Confirmatory)Test: <br /> For alcohol testing, a second test, following a screening test with a result of 0.02 grams or <br /> greater of alcohol per 210 liters of breath, that provides quantitative data of alcohol <br /> concentration.
