Consider Bids <br /> Attached is the Engineer's Letter of Recommendation for Bid Award <br /> and the Tabulation of Bids for the Rasmussen Road & South <br /> Washington Avenue Road & Utilities Improvement Project. We <br /> recommend the Council award the contract to RL Larson Excavating <br /> Inc. in the amount of$2,396,792.43 as the lowest responsive, <br /> responsible bidder. <br /> B. Construction Phase En ing eering Services Proposal <br /> Attached is the Proposal for Construction Phase Engineering Services <br /> from Widseth Smith Nolting (WSN) in the estimated amount of <br /> $168,000 for Council consideration. These services relate to <br /> administration, staking, and observation during the construction <br /> process. <br /> C. General Obligation Bond Preliminary Report <br /> Nancy Malecha is currently working with the City's financial <br /> consultant, Jason Murray from David Drown Associates, on a <br /> preliminary general obligation bond report for this Project. Due to the <br /> short timeframe between the bid opening and the agenda packet <br /> deadline, this preliminary report will be presented to the Council at <br /> the Meeting. <br /> Jason Murray will be present at the March Sth City Council Meeting to <br /> present and review the final report and seek Council approval. <br />
