Pequot <br />Lakes— <br />AGENDA ITEM #92.1. <br />REPORT TO <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Date: April 7, 2009 <br />Subs: Request from Crow Wing County to Turn Back a <br />Segment of County Road 107 <br />Report: Crow Wing County has determined that the <br />`- eastern leg of County Road 107 is no longer essential to <br />their road system and proposes to turn this over to the City <br />of Nisswa and Pequot Lakes. It is a road we currently have <br />to travel when we plow or maintain Wilderness Road. In <br />discussions I have had with Nisswa employees, they seem <br />to have no objections in accepting this segment of C.R. <br />107. This will be presented to the Nisswa City Council in <br />April. If the two cities accept the County's proposal and the <br />County Board passes a resolution revoking this segment of <br />County 107,1 will meet with Nisswa and draw up a joint <br />road agreement. <br />Council Action Requested: Council motion in support of <br />Crow Wing County revoking a Section of County Road <br />107 and reverting the road back to the City of Pequot Lakes <br />and the City of Nisswa. <br />
