ORDINANCE NO. 09-, SECOND SERIES <br />�-- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE 2 OF THE CITY CODE <br />RELATING TO WATER REGULATIONS <br />CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br />COUNTY OF CROW WING <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br />Purpose and Intent. The purpose and intent of this ordinance amendment is to amend <br />Chapter 15 of the Pequot Lakes City Code relating to Water Regulations within the City <br />of Pequot Lakes. <br />Amendment. Chapter 15, Article 2, shall be amended as follows: <br />Section 15 -2.7 — Billing <br />All bills for water service furnished and supplied by the city shall be payable monthly, by <br />the 25�' last day of each month. Meter readings will be taken and billings sent to <br />customers on or about the first week of each month. <br />Section 15 -2.7 (1) — Landlords and Tenants <br />1. Landlords and Tenants — Landlords who are owners of property shall be <br />responsible for tenants' utilitv charges. Utilitv bills will be sent to the Landlord. <br />The Landlord as owner of the property will be responsible for all aspects of the <br />utility account including setting up the account, requesting to have the water <br />turned on or off, requesting changes to the account. <br />Effective Date. This ordinance amendment shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after passage and publication according to state law. <br />Reveal. This ordinance shall repeal all ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br />Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council on April 7, 2009. <br />Nancy A.
