CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION 20- <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE <br /> 2020 PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION PRIMARY ELECTION, <br /> STATE PRIMARY ELECTION, AND STATE GENERAL ELECTION <br /> WHEREAS, the Presidential Nomination Primary Election will be held on March <br /> 3, 2020, the State Primary Election will be held on August 11, 2020, and the <br /> State General Election will be held on November 3, 2020; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator is requesting to appoint election judges to <br /> serve at the Primary and General elections; and <br /> WHEREAS, all appointed election judges will receive the required training to <br /> perform election judge duties; and <br /> WHEREAS, the election judges will receive a wage of$12.00 per hour plus <br /> mileage; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council authorizes the City Administrator to fill any <br /> vacancies that may occur. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council authorizes the <br /> City Administrator to appoint election judges, as on file in the Administration <br /> Office, for the Presidential Nomination Primary Election on March 3, 2020, State <br /> Primary Election on August 11, 2020, and the State General Election on <br /> November 3, 2020. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes this 7th day of January, <br /> 2020. <br /> James Tayloe <br /> ATTEST: Mayor <br /> Nancy Malecha <br /> City Administrator <br />
