I was truly impressed with the member's attention to the tasks at hand and their
thoughtfulness in considering each matter. It is not often that one observes a board that is
measured, realistic, and yet committed to exploring all avenues to achieving the best possible
outcomes. Your group addresses the immediate, gives the appropriate focus to the important,
and understands the need to move forward with a reasonably thought-out plan of action,
knowing modifications can be made as the situation requires.
Having spoken with your staff and consultant in the past, I know that you have the highest
quality support that a board could wish for. It is encouraging to see what has been
accomplished with the vision, perseverance, and synergy this partnership has created.
Please express my appreciation to your board. I look forward to following your community's
progress in the future.
Thank you for your hospitality,
Edy Asell
Zoning Administrator
City of Walker
Wellhead Protection:
Staff has begun preparing the 2009 Bi-Annual Report for the Minnesota
Department of Health.
