CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION 09-09 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM <br /> FEBRUARY 23,2009 THROUGH MARCH 16,2009 <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Pequot Lakes is generally authorized to accept contributions of real <br /> and personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 465.03 for the <br /> benefit of its citizens and is specifically authorized to accept gifts and bequests for <br /> the benefit of recreational service pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 471.17; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, The following persons and entities have offered to contribute the cash sums set <br /> forth below to the City: <br /> Name of Donor Amount Requested Use of Donation <br /> Patron $ 3.00 Library <br /> Patron $ 15.00 Library <br /> Patron $ 13.00 Library <br /> 2009 HMEP $ 6,154.25 Emerg. Grant <br /> TDS Telecom $ 300.00 Summer Concert Donation <br /> `-- Crow Wing County $13,500.00 2009 SCORE Funds <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES, MINNESOTA that the contributions described above are hereby graciously accepted <br /> by the City of Pequot Lakes and shall be used as requested by the donors. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the City Council expresses its gratitude to the donors of <br /> the gifts. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes this 7h day of April, 2009. <br /> Nancy Adams, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Sandra A.
