City Council Minutes <br />April 7, 2009 <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />3.1. March 3, 2009, Council Minutes <br />Mayor Adams requested the following amendment to the City Council <br />minutes: <br />11.4. — First sentence to read as follows: <br />"The City Clerk explained that the Highway 371 Committee has suggested <br />a special meeting of the Council to update the Council regarding the <br />status of the Highway 371 project." <br />MAYOR MALECHA MOVED TO APPROVE THE MARCH 3, 2009, CITY <br />COUNCIL MINUTES AS AMENDED. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4 -0. <br />4. Open Forum <br />Council Member Ryan arrived at this time. <br />Scott Pederson 3823 County Road 17, Peguot Lakes, MN. Mr. <br />Pederson requested the Council to consider not allowing Anderson <br />Brothers to do any work for the City until they correct a problem that they <br />created several years ago in the Field of Dreams development. He <br />explained that the top soil was removed and because of this vegetation <br />will not grow. <br />Bob Murphy, Clear Water Stone — Mr. Murphy had a question regarding <br />his taxes. The Mayor suggested that he contact the Assessor's Office and <br />to appear before the Board of Review and Equalization on May 7 th <br />5. Presentations <br />There were no presentations. <br />6. Planning and Zoning Department Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />6.1. Shoreland Conservation Design Ordinance Amendment <br />Chuck Marohn presented the staff report. He noted that the Planning <br />Commission recommends that the ordinance amendment be adopted. He <br />noted that this ordinance applies to larger parcels on lake property. <br />
