Pequo� Lakes Police Man�hly Repo�t <br /> September 2019: During the month of September (15t-305t), the Pequot Lakes Police <br /> Department has a record of 248 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Animal Complaint <br /> • Civil Problem <br /> • Death <br /> • Disturbance <br /> • Domestic <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • Intoxicated Person <br /> • Noise Complaint <br /> • Scam/Con <br /> • Suspicious Activity <br /> • Tobacco Violation <br /> • Theft <br /> • Threats <br /> • Welfare Check <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 9/14/19, Sgt. Chad Turcotte was on routine patrol when he witnessed a vehicle travelling <br /> south on Patriot Ave, who's driver was showing a revoked status. Sgt. Turcotte conducted a <br /> traffic stop on the vehicle in the Supervalu parking lot. During a search of the vehicle, officers <br /> located 56 grams of inethamphetamine, several items of drug paraphernalia and over$500 in <br /> cash. All three occupants of the vehicle were placed under arrest. The cash and vehicle are <br /> pending forfeiture. Sgt. Turcotte was assisted by the Nisswa and Breezy Point Police <br /> Departments. <br /> On 9/18/19, dispatch received a report of a welfare check on a male slumped over in a vehicle. <br /> Officer Ryan Franz was the first on scene and discovered that the male was deceased. The male <br /> was later identified as Kurt Joseph Streiff. The Pequot Lakes Police Department published a <br /> press release on the matter asking for the public's help. This case continues to be under active <br /> investigation. <br />
