RESOLUTION 09 -08 APPROVING COUNTY PROJECT <br />INCLUDING COUNTY ROAD 107 WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE <br />CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 3 -0. <br />3.2. PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />Discussion was held on the invoice from the City Attorney regarding the <br />recycling agreement. The Mayor questioned whether we had previously <br />paid that bill. The Clerk indicated that the bill was paid however the invoice <br />presented to the Council this evening appears to be a separate invoice for <br />further work. The Mayor noted that adding the two invoices together <br />seems to be high for reviewing a contract that was drafted by the County <br />Attorney. Council Member Ryan suggested that the clerk to contact the <br />attorney and verify that we are not being billed twice for the same work. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO PAY BILLS AS LISTED ON THE CHECK <br />REGISTER. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3 -0. <br />\.. <br />4. Open Forum <br />No one appeared for open forum. <br />5. Presentations <br />5.1. Presentation from Kathy Moore on Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway <br />Kathy Moore spoke to the Council on events that are planned in relation to <br />the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway. <br />5.2. Excess Liability Insurance <br />Insurance Agent Mark Jurchen talked to the Council about the insurance <br />renewal process. Mark Jurchen suggested that the City consider <br />increasing its limit on excess liability insurance by an additional million <br />dollars. He noted that an additional $1,000,000 of coverage would cost <br />$2,512 per year. The Clerk noted that this money is included in the <br />insurance budget. <br />MR <br />
