PequQt Lakes Poliee Monthly Report <br /> August 2019: During the month of August (15Y-315t), the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a record of 382 <br /> calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Civil Problem <br /> • Damage To Property <br /> • Disturbance <br /> • Domestic <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • Found Property <br /> • Intoxicated Person <br /> • Motorist Assist <br /> • Noise Complaint <br /> • Personal Injury Accident <br /> • Scam/Con <br /> • Suspicious Activity <br /> • Theft <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 8/10/19, Sgt. Chad Turcotte, part time officer Mike Davis, fire and ambulance were dispatched to a vehicle <br /> that went into the ditch near Hwy 371 and Co Rd 11. The single occupant was pronounced deceased at the <br /> scene. Chief Klang received an e-mail from the father of the deceased,thanking everyone for their care and <br /> compassion during this difficult time. <br /> On 8/16/19, Officer Matt Jorgens was dispatched to the A-Pine Restaurant in Jenkins for the report of a male <br /> acting suspiciously. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the suspicious male had left the restaurant, gotten <br /> into his vehicle and intentionally hit another vehicle. While Officer Jorgens was attempting to subdue the <br /> suspect, Chief Eric Klang arrived quickly to assist. The suspect was tased, removed from his vehicle and <br /> arrested. The subjects of the vehicle he hit were treated at the scene by EMS. <br /> During the month of August,there were a total of 12 traffic arrests: <br /> 8/4/19: one male, 5t" degree possession <br /> 8/5/19: one male, 4th degree DWI <br /> 8/7/19: one male and one female, 5th degree possession <br /> 8/12/19: one male, GM no insurance and Driving After Cancellation <br /> 8/16/19: one male, 3rd degree DWI <br /> 8/22/19: one female, 5th degree possession <br /> 8/28/19: one male and one female, 5t" degree possession and 4th degree DWI <br /> 8/29/19: one male, 4th degree DWI, Driving After Revocation, possession of stolen license plates <br /> 8/31/19: one male, possession of THC oil <br /> 8/31/19: one male, 4th degree DWI <br />
