10. Fire department updates: <br /> a. Our four new fire fighters have completed FF1 classes and have tested <br /> b. Our 1975 pump truck will be sold on upcoming city equipment auction <br /> c. We are getting by with our SCBA issues for now <br /> d. We are dealing with sticking and very slow opening and closing of air pressure controlled <br /> valves on our main pump truck. We are injecting lubricant into the air lines to help free <br /> the sticking valves. It is improving. <br /> e. The air dryer on the Peterbuilt needs a rebuild kit to restore good operation <br /> f Four new radios were purchased to help the communications <br /> g. New pagers were purchased to replace older units <br /> h Fire fighters are planning to attend spring training classes <br /> i. Some our personnel helped with the Breezy Ice fest stand-by rescue operation <br /> 11. Review of annual fire report for 2008, questions and answers <br /> 12. Review new fire fund budget for 2009, questions and answers <br /> 13. Discussion of information used to calculate fire contract fees for each contracted area. <br /> Does our current method we use to calculate contract rates give us the best way to <br /> determine contract rates? <br /> 14. Review of present fire contract and per hour rates charged for fire service. Do we need to <br /> revise the per hour rates to address what we call a "service call". Review of what happens -� <br /> when fire bills are not paid. Discussion of fire contract with the DNR. <br /> 15. Any other new business, questions, any topics that need an explanation? <br /> 16.
