Fire: 109 <br /> ➢ Two Planning Commission member terms will expire in March. An <br /> advertisement has been placed in the Echo and we will be asking the <br /> Council to make the appointments in March. <br /> ➢ Staff continues to meet regularly with representatives of other <br /> governing units within Crow Wing County to establish a new <br /> Subsurface Sewage Treatment System ordinance for the County. <br /> Municipalities can then adopt the County ordinance without <br /> reinventing the wheel. <br /> ➢ Tommy Woog has been a member of the Pequot Lakes Planning <br /> Commission since January 1, 1999! <br /> ➢ Department Goals for 2009: <br /> 1. Create a step by step template for procedures for all <br /> aspects of department. <br /> 2. Complete City-wide SSTS Data Base. <br /> 3. Improve ArcView mapping skills. <br /> ➢ Comprehensive Plan Review— We are moving forward with the <br /> Comprehensive Plan Update. The first Community Workshop will be <br /> held on Wednesday, February 18th in the Council Chambers from <br /> 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to give ample time for community <br /> participation. The first hour of our regular Planning Commission <br /> meetings will be devoted to the update. On February 19 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> we will discuss the Workshop results and the Housing section of the <br /> current Comprehensive Plan.
