Pequ�� Lakes Police Monthly Report <br /> July 2019: During the month of July (15t-315Y), the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a record <br /> of 524 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Animal Complaint <br /> • Attempt To Locate <br /> • Civil Problem <br /> • Curfew Violation <br /> • Domestic <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • EMS <br /> • Fireworks <br /> • Intoxicated Person <br /> • Noise Complaint <br /> • Suspicious Vehicle <br /> • Theft <br /> • Threats <br /> • Warrant Service Attempt <br /> • Welfare Check <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 7/13/19, Officer Sheri Fyle heard a broadcast come across the radio of a report of an <br /> intoxicated female that left a bar in Nisswa in an unknown direction. Officer Fyle located the <br /> vehicle as it turned northbound on Patriot Ave from Hwy 371. Officer Fyle developed probable <br /> cause to stop the vehicle and made contact with the driver. Officer Fyle had the female driver <br /> step out of the vehicle to perform field sobriety testing and take a PBT test. The female failed <br /> both tests and was arrested for 3�d Degree DWI and Disorderly Conduct. The vehicle is being <br /> held pending forfeiture. Part time officer Brad Peters assisted Officer Fyle. <br /> On 7/14/19, Officer Matt Jorgens was working a TZD shift in the Deerwood area when he <br /> observed a vehicle cross the center line and appear to be traveling at a high rate of speed. <br /> Officer Jorgens recognized the vehicle and identified it by its license plate, as having been the <br /> suspect vehicle in a theft earlier in the day at the Dollar General store in Pequot Lakes. <br /> Ultimately, a female passenger was arrested for 5t'' Degree Possession of Controlled Substance. <br /> Long form Theft charges are pending on the female passenger and female driver. Officer <br /> Jorgens was assisted by Officer Ryan Franz, a Brainerd officer and a CWC deputy. <br />
