City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes = -- <br /> July 2019 Public Works Report <br /> suilain�s• <br /> - Monthly Building inspections and cleaning <br /> - Electrical work in Council meeting room <br /> - Service work on both City Hall air conditioner units <br /> -Worked with WSN about PW Facility remaining items left <br /> -Northfork (Boser Subcontractor) worked on the PW Facility gounds (storm pond&ditch resizing to <br /> original specs & Harley raking area to be seeded into grass) <br /> - Inspection and clean up related to Cole Memorial reservations and use <br /> - Weekly cleaning and inspections of facilities <br /> Streets• <br /> - Greasing and maintenance of vital equipment <br /> - Pothole repairs—ongoing UPM use on Nelson, Wild Acres, Rasmussen, &other specific areas <br /> - Participated in a traffic study update meeting with WSN and other team staff <br /> - Street repairs—shoulders, aprons, alleys, driveway washouts/undermining&potholes were properly <br /> filled, leveled, and compacted with heavy equipment <br /> -Tree removal (Pequot Blvd blocked by a large oak&birch) <br /> - Solicited multiple street maintenance &repair bids in town (crack sealings, Front Street repair) <br /> - Inspected Class 5 replacement and calcium chloride (dust suppression) - Loon Lake for 9�'Ave <br /> - Called in locates and installed 911 sign posts (2) <br /> - Inspected a culvert needs assessment for planning & zoning <br /> - Extensive ditch mowing on boulevards, roadsides, and ROWs <br /> Parks• <br /> - Routine inspections and trash removal at multiple garbage barrels <br /> - Helped prep, maintain, and clean up after multiple festivals and events (fireworks,parade, Beanhole, <br /> Bands in the Park, church outdoor services, reunions) <br /> - Respond to several calls and correspondences in regards to an August wedding being planned in <br /> Sibley Lake Park <br /> - LOTS of mowing all parks/city gass <br /> - Trash and stick cleanup periodically as able <br /> - Flag Display Project coordination between Xcel, TDS, Flag Vendor, and Parks Commission <br /> (Locates, coordination meeting, onsite meeting, flag design, Xcel/TDS follow-up, ongoing <br /> coordination for timelines, MN DNR Trails communication) <br /> - Mutt Mitt replacements as needed <br /> - Multiple bee/wasp issues reported and responded to <br /> - Dog Park maintenance (very heavily used!) <br /> - Installed another wooden bench at the Dog Park <br /> Other: <br /> - City message sign notifications modified multiple times <br /> - Flags maintained as directed <br /> - Council meeting&prep <br /> - Team Leadership meetings <br /> - Budget work and meetings <br /> - Coordinated electrician work (diagnosis/repair on solar light on Pequot Sign at 371) <br /> - Bring out recycling at City Hall & clean/maintain oil recycling bin <br /> - Maintain grounds at the WTP & WWT ponds <br />
