Pequot Lakes Police Monthly Repor�t <br /> June 2019: During the month of June (15Y-30th),the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a <br /> record of 357 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Agency Assist <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Animal Complaint <br /> • Burning Complaint <br /> • Civil Problem <br /> • Domestic <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • Intoxicated Person <br /> • Noise Complaint <br /> • Suspicious Activity <br /> • Theft <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 6/3/19, Officer Matt Jorgens was on routine patrol when he observed a vehicle with loud <br /> exhaust and a cracked windshield drive past him. Officer Jorgens conducted a traffic stop on the <br /> vehicle. The driver admitted to having a revoked license and no insurance. While speaking with <br /> the driver, Officer Jorgens observed the two passengers displaying signs of recent drug use as <br /> well as drug paraphernalia in plain view. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of <br /> heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and $248 in cash. It was later discovered that the driver <br /> also had a warrant. The driver and two passengers were arrested and the cash is being held <br /> pending forfeiture. <br /> On 6/22/19, Officer Steve Emerson was on routine patrol when he conducted a traffic stop on a <br /> vehicle for loud exhaust. The driver was unable to provide insurance for the vehicle. Officer <br /> Ryan Franz arrived to assist. The male passenger was showing recent signs of drug use and was <br /> becoming increasingly agitated. During a search of the vehicle, officers located <br /> methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Both the male and female passenger were arrested <br /> for Felony 5th Degree Possession and the vehicle is being held pending forfeiture. <br /> The Pequot Lakes Police Department had a total of twelve Traffic Arrests during the month of <br /> June. <br />
