P�quot Lakes Police Monthly Report <br /> May 2019: During the month of May (15t-315t), the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a record <br /> of 338 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • 911 Hangup <br /> • Agency Assist <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Disturbance <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • Motorist Assist <br /> • Intoxicated Person <br /> • Noise Complaint <br /> • Shooting Complaint <br /> • Suspicious Activity <br /> • Theft <br /> • Threats <br /> • Welfare Check <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 5/3/19, Officer Matt Jorgens conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driving with no headlights <br /> or taillights in inclement weather. Through his training and experience, he recognized the signs <br /> of recent drug use by the passenger, along with the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. <br /> Officer Kate Petersen arrived on scene shortly to assist with a search of the vehicle and female <br /> passenger. The female passenger was arrested for possession of marijuana and <br /> methamphetamine drug paraphernalia. <br /> On the night of 5/17/19, Officer Matt Jorgens arrested and transported a driver to jail for 2"d <br /> degree DWI. The following shift on 5/18/19, Officer Jorgens and transported a driver to jail for <br /> 3�d degree DWI. On 5/20/19, Officer Jorgens was working a TZD shift in the Brainerd/Baxter <br /> area and arrested a driver for Driving After Cancellation. Way to go, Matt! <br />
