The full corporation membership includes three <br />representatives from each county in the Region. <br />The North Central Economic Development Association (NCEDA) is seeking <br />nominations for a member to represent Crow Wing County municipalities on their 16 <br />member full corporation. <br />I would like to request that your City Council nominate a representative to the <br />NCEDA full corporation. According to the by -laws of the corporation, the nominee <br />must have experience in at least one of the four groups below: <br />■ Local Government <br />■ Community Organization <br />■ Private Lending Institution <br />■ Business Organization <br />I have included a nomination form and an NCEDA brochure. The NCEDA full <br />corporation meets twice a year, usually March and October. Members may serve up <br />to 3 three -year terms and will receive a per diem and mileage reimbursement to <br />attend meetings. <br />Please reproduce the nomination form if you would like to nominate more than one <br />individual. Completed forms should be returned to the address at the top of this page <br />before January 1, 2009. Nominations will be reviewed by the Full Corporation at their <br />meeting on March 12th and confirmed by the Region Five Development Commission <br />at the end of March.
