Call Meetinq to Order <br /> Chair Ronning called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Aqenda <br /> COMMISSIONER JOHNSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. <br /> COMMISSIONER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER JOHNSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE APRIL 23, 2019, <br /> PARK COMMISSION MINUTES AS READ. COMMISSIONER K. CHURACK <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 4. Trailside Park Improvements <br /> a. Splash Pad Presentation <br /> Jeff Corniea <br /> Commercial Recreation Specialists <br /> Vortex Splash Pads <br /> Mr. Corniea gave an introduction of Commercial Recreation Specialists and what <br /> they do and his role with the company. Mr. Corniea described what is all included <br /> in their services. Mr. Corniea stated that a splash pad is an interactive zero depth <br /> aquatic attraction. Mr. Corniea described and showed a couple different options <br /> for the splash pad. Splash pads can be zoned by age appropriate sections for <br /> toddler through teens. Mr. Corniea stated that all features are stainless steel. <br /> Benefits of a splash pad are zero depth, interactive, inclusive and universal for all <br /> ages and abilities from toddlers to teens, simple to use as well as maintain, and <br /> water features bring communities together and environmental. <br />
