City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes! _ <br /> Apri12019 Public Works Report <br /> Builaings• <br /> - Septic and holding tanks were pumped at City Hall and Chamber by Honey Wagon. <br /> -Monthly building inspections. <br /> -Matt Bengston(Bengston Electric)inspected and consulted on electric supply requirements in <br /> regards to a generator installation. <br /> -Department heads met with Generator Vendor to discuss installation of a stand-by generator at City <br /> Hall. <br /> -Routine maintenance of oil disposal area&tanks was pumped by Used Oil Reuse Company. <br /> -Follow-up with WSN on punchlist building items on new shop including a grounds walk-through to � <br /> ID any remaining ground work prior to seeding(by Boser). <br /> -WSN worked with Boser on remaining items at the new PW Building. <br /> - One remaining heavy wet snow allowed for additional walkway snow removal at all buildings. <br /> -New window shutters we installed by a local contractor on the front of City Hall. <br /> - Safety modifications to the entrance of City Hall were discussed at the Safety Mtg. <br /> Streets• <br /> -One last heavy snow event(8-11")required a large plow event. <br /> -Due to the frost letting out of the gound already,numerous plow damage spots repaired in town, <br /> when the conditions were conducive staff conducted multiple days of repair(raking). <br /> -For weeks prior and weeks after the snow event,pothole repair was done quite often(UPM patching). <br /> -Numerous flooding and drainage issues were addressed early in the month. <br /> -Ongoing maintenance on heavily worked equipment(greasing, oil changes). <br /> - Street sweeping(curbed,in town)was contracted with Landwerx out of Brainerd this year. <br /> - Other sweeping was conducted with the angled broom attachment on the Skid Steer(45+miles!). <br /> -Wear replacement kit(new bristles @ $4�)was installed on Skid Steer Broom. <br /> - Equipment was now modified to conduct shouldering repair operations in May. <br /> -Damaged pavement edges and chronic repair and drainage issues were assessed for repair w/ <br /> Anderson Brothers sta.ff, itemized bids pending. <br /> - Comprehensive street survey was initiated for a11 Pequot Lakes streets,to be completed late May. <br /> -MnDOT staff agreed to help compile and share data produced by volumetric counters in 5 spots. <br /> -WSN discussed with staff the detailed Traffic Study to be conducted in mid-late May(completed by <br /> Aug.). <br /> Parks• <br /> -Routine inspections and trash removal at multiple gazbage barrels. <br /> -Additional garbage barrels installed in town. <br /> -Benches now maintained by Community Action to accommodate their requests. <br /> -Trash and stick cleanup periodically as able. <br />
