AGENDA ITEM #9.2 <br /> city of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes= _ <br /> REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Jason Gorr—Public Works Director <br /> Date: March 5, 2019 <br /> Subiect: Traffic Study <br /> Report: At the February 5�' City Council Meeting, the Council directed <br /> Widseth Smith Nolting to bring forth a proposal on a traffic study approach <br /> utilizing the intersections of South Patriot Avenue, the Interchange roundabouts, <br /> North Patriot Avenue, County Road 17, Front Street, Main Street, Woodman <br /> Street, West Lake Street, and Rasmussen Road. Attached is the traffic study <br /> proposal for your review and discussion. <br /> The primary goal of the study is to provide some quantitative data in regards to <br /> vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic on primary roads. This data, extrapolation <br /> (to reflect all seasons), and resulting report is to be used a scientific tool for the <br /> Council to help make best informed decisions in regard to current and future needs. <br /> Council Action ReQuested: Council discussion and possible approval of the <br /> Traffic Study proposal submitted by Widseth Smith Nolting in the amount of <br /> $27,475 to be paid from the Highway 371 Fund. <br />
