Pequot Lakes Police Dept. <br />Report to the City Council <br />October 29, 2010 <br />For the month of October the Department logged 290 individual ICRs. <br />Current Activities: <br />During the month, the Reserves conducted 708 individual security checks of businesses and homes <br />throughout the month, with 5 open doors found at area businesses. <br />Reserves continued to provide foot patrol during the home football and volley ball games. They also <br />assisted with all of the Homecoming activities. <br />Training: <br />Oct 7 — 8th: Officers Josh Gartner and Chad Nangle attended Taser Instructor training, <br />hosted for area officers by our Department. <br />Oct 12 — 14th: Officer Josh Gartner attended a Combative Carbine Firearms Training at the <br />Crow Wing County Fairgrounds, hosted by the Sheriff's Dept. <br />Oct 21St: Officers Petersen, Nangle, Hogan, Gartner and Herold attended annual firearms <br />qualifications for pistols as well as rifle training in Pine River, provided by Hibbing <br />Community College. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Kate Petersen <br />Acting Chief of Police <br />M <br />
