� ORDINANCE NUMBER�8-��SECOND SERIES <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAP'rER��OF THE CITY CODE <br /> REGARDING METES AND BOUNDS SUBDIVISIONS <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COLTNTY OF CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent: The purpose and intent of this ordinance is to amend Chapter <br /> ��of the Pequot Lakes City Code regarding Metes and Bounds Subdivisions. <br /> Amendment: Chapter i�,Article 9.4 shall be amended as follows: <br /> Section i�-9.4 DESIGN LAYOUT STANDARDS-MINIMiJM <br /> 8. Each lot less than io acres shall have a minimum of 33 feet of frontage on a <br /> designated right of way. Each lot io acres and larger shall have a minimum of 33 <br /> feet wide road access to a designated right-of-way. Commonly owned properry or <br /> Green Space used for access in a Planned Unit Development shall have a minimum <br /> of 33 feet of frontage on a public right of way. <br /> � Amendment: Chapter i�,Article i1.9 shall be amended as follows: <br /> Section i�-i�.9 SUBDIVISIONS <br /> 5. Metes and Bounds Subdivision Approval, Subdivisions less than �o acres in <br /> size or less than 50o feet in width. <br /> E. The Planning Commission shall decide on the subdivision within the <br /> required time based on the resulting lots complying with this <br /> Chapter, the feasibility of the resulting lots for their intended <br /> purpose, and the provision for access to adjacent properties. <br /> Conditions may be attached to an approval requiring appropriate <br /> improvements. No more than one (�) split into two (2) parcels shall <br /> be allowed in a three(3)year period of time. <br /> Effective Date: This ordinance amendment shall be in full force and effect from and <br /> after passage and publication according to state law. <br /> Repeal: This ordinance shall repeal all ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br /> Passed by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 4�day of September, 2018. <br /> � <br /> 1 <br />
