City Council Minutes <br />November 9, 2010 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />-------------------- - - - - -- <br />3.5. RESOLUTION 10 -29 ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS AND /OR <br />GRANTS FROM SEPTEMBER 25, THROUGH OCTOBER 28, <br />2010 <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5 -0. <br />3.1. October 5, 2010, City Council Minutes <br />Council Member Ryan stated that Mr. Selvestra's name was <br />spelled incorrectly. The Clerk noted she would correct the minutes. <br />Council Member Ryan requested that the minutes refer to the <br />actual documents that were distributed to the Council from Mr. <br />Selvestra. <br />3.4. Library Report <br />Mayor Adams distributed a letter from John Longnecker explaining <br />that the Library Board has voted to make two building loan <br />payments. Mayor Adams requested authorization to make the <br />`- payments. Council Member Ryan stated that this request should <br />not be part of the Library Report, but should be a separate item on <br />the agenda. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ADD 11.5C TO THE <br />AGENDA REFERRING TO REPAYMENT OF THE LIBRARY <br />BUILDING FUND LOAN PAYMENTS. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO APPROVE THE OCTOBER 5, 2010 <br />MINUTES AS AMENDED. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO THE APPROVE THE <br />LIBRARY REPORT. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />4. Open Forum <br />Janet Wedan, questioned procedure for forwarding information to the <br />Health Insurance Committee. She spoke specifically about the Teamsters <br />Health Insurance being available for all City employees. The Clerk stated <br />that this issue should not be discussed until the union contract is signed. <br />
