Measure community-wide impact and be recognized at Step Four and Step Five o Step Two and Step Three recognition levels reflect completed city actions,generally described in words. Beginning in 2016 the GreenStep program challenges cities to measure and report—with numbers—the a�re�ate,auantitative results of takin�multiple actions.Called city performance metrics(or sustainability indicators),these Step Four measures attempt to present to community members the'state of sustainability'achieved by a city. o Step Four reco�nition will be awarded each June to cities who report,for the previous calendar year, between 5 and 8 core metrics and 5,3,or no(depending on city category)additional metrics of their choice. o Stea Five-the�nal recognition level for the GreenStep Cities program-challenges cities to show improvement in three or more selected data elements from approximately 90 elements that fall under the 18 Step 4 metrics.
