Public Works Report <br /> The December 2018 Public Works Report was received by Council. <br /> Council Member Pederson questioned if the wash curtain system was <br /> included in the project contract. Tim Houle noted that it was decided to <br /> install this system at a later date. <br /> 9.1. En�ineering Services for 2019 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TO APPOINT WIDSETH <br /> SMITH NOLTING AS THE CITY'S ENGINEER FOR 2019. MAYOR <br /> TAYLOE SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.2. Public Works Facilitv Update <br /> Tim Houle explained that contractual items are being worked through with <br /> Boser Construction and seeding will be taken care of in the spring which <br /> will keep the contract open for some time. <br /> Jason Gorr noted that mechanical items are being worked on and the <br /> Facility is looking good. Mr. Gorr invited the City Council to tour the Public <br /> Works Facility on January 22"d at 5:30 p.m. <br /> 9.3. Highway 371/Countv Road 29 Intersection Update <br /> Nancy Malecha informed the Council that to date MnDOT is re-evaluating <br /> the intersection at Highway 371 and County Road 29 and they will notify <br /> the City when the revised study has been completed. <br /> Counci) Member Pederson requested that MnDOT provide this revised <br /> study to the Council by the February 5�' City Council Meeting. The <br /> consensus ofi the Council agreed to make this request to MnDOT. <br /> 9.4. Trailside Park Proiect ' <br /> Tim Houle explained to the Council the street and utility improvements ', <br /> previously discussed, the bid process that occurred in 2018, and the <br /> revised scope of work that was determined by the Council on November � <br /> 14w.
