January 8, 20 9 <br /> Subiect: Economic Development Commission (EDC) Appointments <br /> Report: Three of the seven EDC members' terms expired on December 31, <br /> 2018; Mark Jurchen, Chris Lindholm, and Amy Sjoblad. Chris Lindholm <br /> submitted an application for reappointment, Mark Jurchen has met his term <br /> limitation on the EDC, and Amy Sjoblad did not submit an application for <br /> reappointment; however, several applications have been received. <br /> Council Action Requested: Mayor's recommendation to appoint Shawn Crochet, <br /> Chris Lindholm, and Michelle Lelwica to the EDC with term expirations of <br /> 12-31-21 followed by Council motion and vote. <br /> Although Shawn Crochet is not a resident or business owner of the City, he has a <br /> vested interest in the community as an employee of TDS Telecom and he can bring <br /> forth collaborative ideas regarding the future of broadband in our community. <br />
