Park— Repair/Maintenance/Services, review the budget amount of <br /> $2,000. A consensus of the Council agreed to keep this in the 2019 <br /> Preliminary Budget. <br /> w. Discuss the need for an updated Road Improvement Plan for all City <br /> streets based on street criteria, property tax analysis, road , <br /> standards/specification guidelines, traffic counts, funding sources, etc. ' <br /> Nancy Malecha explained that the City needs to begin looking at an <br /> updated road improvement plan for the City as we have heard from <br /> residents along North Sluetter Road, Coleman Drive, and Myers Road <br /> who are requesting their roads be upgraded. Ms. Malecha noted that <br /> the City will also need to analyze the funding sources available as it is <br /> difficult to levy for large road projects while keeping it affordable to our <br /> taxpayers. Special assessments and/or large bonding mechanisms <br /> may need to be considered. <br /> x. Aim for a 0% levy increase which equates to an $84,175 reduction in <br /> the 2019 preliminary general revenue tax levy. <br /> Mayor Adams noted that a lot has been cut from the 2019 Preliminary <br /> Budget tonight.
