PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br /> THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2018 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Chair Ronning, Commissioners Bryan, Johnson, Nagel, and <br /> Sjoblad <br /> Members Absent: Commissioners Melby and Jurchen <br /> Also Present: Dawn Bittner, Zoning Specialist; Mimi Swanson, Council Liaison <br /> 1. Call Meetinq to Order <br /> Chair Ronning called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider A�enda <br /> COMMISSIONER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA. <br /> COMMISSIONER JOHNSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AUGUST 9, 2018 <br /> PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER SJOBLAD SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 4. Meetina Procedures <br /> Chair Ronning reiterated that when you speak you are recognized by the Chair <br /> first to enable the recording to be understood. Also, once the meeting is <br /> adjoumed to leave the building in a timely manner. <br /> 5. LED Camera Pricinq <br /> Commissioner Melby was looking into pricing for the camera; however, he is not <br /> at the meeting today so this will be postponed until next month. <br /> 6. Holidav Qecorations <br /> Ms. Bittner stated that we received feedback regarding the lighting in Trailside <br /> Park last season that we did not have enough lights and possibly add more color <br /> and not just white lights. Discussion ensued regarding purchasing more lights, <br /> possibly bringing more color into the display, where the old lights ended up, and <br /> what the park budget has available for additional lights. Ms. Bittner will discuss <br /> the budget with the City Administrator Nancy Malecha. <br />
