A motion was made by Tom Adams, seconded by Mark Hallan, to not send forth an <br />`-' Ordinance Amendment proposal to the City Council and to take no action. 6 ayes, 1 nay <br />(Bill Habein). Motion carried. <br />Councilman Nagel would like this matter brought back up at a later date. <br />Chairman Woog closed the Public Hearings. <br />ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO AGENDA: None. <br />OPEN FORUM: None. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />a. Animal Husbandry, Discussion: <br />Bittner explained the City Clerk is proposing amendments to Chapter 9 of the City Code <br />which would include the number of dogs allowed per household. The definition of <br />Animal Husbandry limits the number to two dogs. At a previous Planning Commission <br />meeting Staff was directed to include the definition of Animal Husbandry on an <br />upcoming Agenda for discussion. The City Clerk would like the Planning Commission <br />to complete their discussion prior to completing her City Code amendments. <br />After discussing what number should be included for either dogs or cats, the Planning <br />Commission agreed to exclude dogs and cats from Animal Husbandry altogether and to <br />have the City deal with the issue as a public nuisance. <br />Staff was directed to bring this back for an Ordinance Amendment and to notify the City <br />Clerk of this recommendation. <br />OLD BUSINESS: None. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />A motion was made by Tom Adams, seconded by Mark Hallan, to approve the July 15, <br />2010 Planning Commission Minutes. All members voted "aye ". Motion carried. <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />Bittner pointed out the one Land Use Permit issued and the 22 letters sent or received. <br />The following Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions were discussed. <br />1. Whitty violation — Mr. Marohn explained his site visit and the nice work the new <br />owners have done to correct this violation.
