7(a) Short-term Rental Ordinance

d. Name and telephone number of a contact person who shall be responsible for responding to questions or concerns regarding the operation of the short-term rental. This information must be kept current. The conta.ct person must be available to accept telephone ca11s on a 24-hour basis at all times that the short-term rental is rented and occupied. T'he contact person must have a key to the rental unit and be able to respond to the short-term rental within su�ty(60)minutes to address issues or must have arranged for another person to address issues within the same timeframe. The requirement for identifying a contact person applies to each person or entity making arrangements for renting a given short-term rental. e. If the property was rented the prior calendar year� a written listing of rental periods the property was rented and number of persons in each rental period. Upon receipt of a completed application,the City sha11 forward the application to the City Council for action at its next regularly scheduled City Council meeting. If the City shall determine that an applica.tion is incomplete,he or she shall return the application to the applicant with notice of the information necessary to make the application complete. 3. Action. The City Council may either approve or deny the license,or it may delay action for a reasonable period or time as necessary to complete any investigation of the application or the applicant it as it deems necessary. If the City Council shall approve the license,the City shall issue the license to the applicant. If the City Council denies the license,notice of the denial shall be given to the applicant along with notice of the applicant's right to appeal the City Couricil's decision. 4. Term. All licenses issued under this chapter shall fall under the licensing year of January 1, to December 31. License fees aze not prn-rated if issued at any time other than January 1. 5. Revocation or Suspension. Any license issued under this chapter may be revoked or suspended. 6. Tr�nsfers. AIl licenses issued under this chapter shall be valid only on the premises for which the license was issued and only for the person to whom the license was issued. No transfer of any licernse to another location or person shall be valid without the prior approval of the City Council. 7. Dis la . All licenses shali be posted and displayed in plain view of the general public on the licensed premises. Section 9.10-4 FEES No license sha11 be issued under this chapter until the appropriate license fee shall be paid in full. The fee for a license under this chapter shall be established in the City's Ordinance Esta.blishing Fees and Charges, as it may be amended by resolution from time to time. Section 9.10-5 STANDARDS FOR APPROVAL The City shall review the following conditions with an applicant for a short-term rentallicense after receiving a completed application:
