The Council gave the following suggestions <br />• Request proposals for a Planning Consultant <br />• Hire a Planner who would be the only person in the department <br />• Share planning services with another city <br />• Contract planning services with Crow Wing County <br />Council Member Nagel stated that he would gather some information <br />on this subject and present it to the Council. <br />• Election <br />Budget presented by Sandy Peine. The proposed 2011 Election budget <br />is $7,800. This is a decrease of $4,700. There were no changes to this <br />budget. <br />• Sales and Use Tax <br />Budget presented by Sandy Peine. The proposed 2011 Sales and Use <br />Tax budget is $500. This is an expenditure decrease of $300. There <br />were no changes to this budget. <br />• Fire Contracts <br />Budget presented by Sandy Peine. The proposed 2011 Fire Contracts <br />budget is $77,300. This is a decrease of $3,300 from the 2010 budget. <br />There were no changes to this budget. <br />HRA <br />Budget presented by Sandy Peine <br />$1,300. This is a 0% increase from <br />changes to this budget. <br />• Economic Development <br />The proposed 2011 HRA budget is <br />the 2010 budget. There were no <br />Budget presented by Sandy Peine. The proposed 2011 Economic <br />Development budget is $1,150. This is a budget decrease of $30. <br />
