AGENDA ITEM #9.2.B <br /> City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes— - <br /> REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Nancy Malecha <br /> Date: October 2, 2018 <br /> Subiect: Hire Temporary Employee <br /> Report: I am requesting the City hire John Monnier as a temporary, as needed <br /> employee to assist the Public Works Department during this transitionary period. <br /> Mr. Monnier is currently retired and he is willing to assist the City as needed with <br /> mowing, fall cleanup, minor road repairs, snowplowing, and other miscellaneous <br /> duties. Mr. Monnier has an active Class A license with a tanker endorsement and <br /> he was previously employed with the City to assist in the sewer department. He <br /> has also worked for the City of Breezy Point, the City of Nisswa, and the Pine <br /> River Area Sanitary District through the years. I am recommending his hourly <br /> wage be $19.38 with no benefit package. <br /> Council Action Requested: Council motion to hire John Monnier as a temporary, <br /> as needed employee in the Public Works Department for the 2018-2019 fall/winter <br /> season at an hourly wage of$19.38 with no benefit package. <br />
