Standards for Approval <br /> The zoning administrator shall review the following conditions with an application for a ' <br /> short term rental license/ permit upon a finding that the property owner has completed a � <br /> proper application. �� <br /> 1) The maximum rental period shall not be more than 30 days <br /> 2) Maximum occupancy shall be two (2) people per bedroom. <br /> 3) Properties may not be rented or leased for more than four periods between May <br /> 20th and September 10th of each calendar year. Property may also be rented one <br /> additional period before and after these dates each calendar year for a maximum <br /> six times in the 12 month period/calendar year. ' <br /> 4) Properties may not be leased or rented to more than one party in a seven day �� <br /> period 'i <br /> 5) Additional occupancy by use ofi recreational vehicles, tents, accessory structures, <br /> garages, boathouse, pole barn, shed, fish houses or similar structure is not <br /> permitted <br /> 6) The dwelling units must meet Minr�esata Residential Building Code requirements <br /> regarding fire egress from all bedrooms/sleeping areas and detector/alarm <br /> systems. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> 7) The operator shall provide one off street parking space per bedroom rented with <br /> a maximum nurnber of vehicles equal to the number of bedrooms in the home. <br /> No on street parking is allowed for guests. � <br /> 8) Parking must be set back 5 feet from neighboring property <br /> 9) The owner shall keep on file with the City the name and telephone number of a <br /> contact person who shall be responsible for responding to questions or concerns <br /> regarding the operation of the short-term rental. This information must be kept <br /> current. The contact person must be available to accept telephone calls on a 24 <br /> hour basis at all times that the short-term rental is rented and occupied. The <br /> contact person must have a key to the rental unit and be able to respond to the <br /> short-term rental within sixty (60) minutes to address issues or must have <br /> arranged for another person to address issues within the same timeframe. The <br /> requirement for identifying a contact person applies to each person or entity , <br /> making arrangements for renting a given short term rental. <br />
