City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes = - <br /> Water/Wastewater Report <br /> August 2018 <br /> Water Dept. <br /> Facilitv Performance for Julv 2018: <br /> Flow <br /> Average daily gallons pumped: 120,000 gallons <br /> Maximum daily gallons pumped: 150,000 gallons <br /> Minimum daily gallons pumped: 80,000 gallons <br /> Total monthly gallons pumped: 3,599,000 gallons <br /> Lab <br /> Average daily chlorine concentration: 0.33 (mg/1) <br /> �Recommended chlorine concentration: 0.2 to 0.5 mg/1 <br /> Average daily fluoride concentration: 0.74(mg/1) <br /> *Recommended fluoride concentration:0.5 mg/1 to 0.9 mg/1 <br /> Wastewater Dep� <br /> Facilitv Performance for Julv 2018: <br /> Flow <br /> Average Daily Flow: 66,471 gallons (Design—121,795 gal/day) <br /> Maximum Daily Flow: 78,103 gallons <br /> Minimum Daily Flow: 57,724 gallons <br /> Tota1 Monthly Flow: 2,060,608 gallons <br /> Onerations ReAort <br /> 1) Water treatment facility inspections were completed daily. <br /> 2) Wastewater facility and lift station checks were done every Monday,Wednesday,and Friday. <br /> 3) Monthly lift station maintenance(check amps,clean floats,inspect wet well,etc)was completed <br /> on 8/20. <br /> 4) Weekly water testing was completed. <br /> 5) Water meters were read on 8/23. <br /> � Monthly fluoride report was submitted to Minnesota Department of Health on 8/1. <br /> 'n Monthly Discharge Monitoring Report was submitted to MPCA on 8/1. <br /> 8) PRASD operators have been busy cleaning the City's gravity sewer lines over the past few <br /> weeks. Jetting has gone well and should be wrapped up by the first week of September. Also, <br /> they have been exercising gate valves on the City's water distribution system. Any valves <br /> needing cleaning or maintenance will be taken care of later this fall or eazly next spring. <br /> 9) As mentioned in last month's report,the wastewater spray irrigation control system was <br /> damaged by lightning. Repairs have been made and the system is again operational. Luckily, <br /> everything that was da.maged was still under warranty and was replaced at no charge. <br /> 10) There was a miscommunication between KLM and their painting contractor that set the water <br /> tower painting project back about a week behind schedule.
