Mr. Brown asked what the minimum requirements were for a principal structure. <br /> Bittner stated 2o feet in width. Planning Commission Member Norton stated that <br /> would include well and septic. Mr. Burslie stated he would need to ' <br /> screen the equipment from the right-of-way and from neighboring properties. When <br /> asked by Mr. Brown, Mr. Burslie stated screening with vegetation or a fence. <br /> Mr. Brown asked how often the equipment needs to be moved so it isn't F�terior <br /> Storage. Mr. Burslie stated that is not the issue we need to deal with. <br /> Mr. Brown stated the pontoon and most items will fit in the pole barn,but the trailers <br /> and camper will not fit;they are too high. <br /> Planning Commission Member Norton asked if Mr. Brown were to park one truck and <br /> one trailer overnight and drive them to work the next day,if that would be considered <br /> F�cterior Storage. Mr. Burslie state he did not believe that would be considered Exterior <br /> Storage,but if it sits there for days at a time,then it would. <br /> Mr. Brown stated he would place the F.xterior Storage on his properry with the dwelling <br /> and put the truck and trailer and other truck and dump trailer on the other lot. <br /> Planning Commission Member Birch inquired if the City would want to look at <br /> somehow allowing uses on a secondary lot that are allowed on the principle lot. Mr. <br /> Burslie stated the Planning Commission can look at that if that is something you want in <br /> your community. <br /> Mr. Brown asked what he would need to do to get a permit to build a pole barn should <br /> he choose to pay off the property. Mr. Burslie stated he could build a pole barn with <br /> living quarters with a well a septic. <br /> Mr. Brown asked how many days of being parked is considered F.xterior Storage. He <br /> was told there is no magic number,but if the trucks and trailers are being moved in and <br /> out every other day,that is not Exterior Storage.
