RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING OUTLOT B, BRANCHES <br />REAL ESTATE ACQUISITION <br />CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pequot Lakes (the "City ") has been contacted by Crow Wing County <br />regarding the sale of Outlot B, Branches ( "Outlot B ") to the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Outlot B has been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for failure to pay real <br />estate taxes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has reviewed said acquisition of Outlot B and it is in the best interest of <br />the City to acquire Outlot B for a future city street extension; and <br />WHEREAS, acquisition of Outlot B has no relationship to the City's Comprehensive Plan; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined it is in the City's best interest to acquire Outlot B <br />pursuant to the following terms and conditions; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PEQUOT LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />The City is authorized to acquire Outlot B, Branches at a cost of $900.00, in addition <br />to all usual and customary expenses associated with closing the transaction with the <br />County of Crow Wing and State of Minnesota. <br />2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute all documents necessary to close <br />the transaction. <br />1 <br />
