The general fund capital outlay and council contingency carryover , <br /> monies remaining at year-end total $124,398.56. Ms. Malecha pointed out ' <br /> the Statement of Net Position reflects a heaithy financial condition as of <br /> December 31, 2017. <br /> 10.2 Citv Clerk/Treasurer Probationarv Period <br /> Nancy Malecha stated that Deb Marty, City Clerk/Treasurer has ', <br /> completed her six month probationary period and is doing a great job. Ms. I <br /> Malecha added that she will continue the training process. ' <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON MOVED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE <br /> COMPLETION OF THE SIX MONTH PROBATIONARY PERIOD OF <br /> DEB MARTY, CITY CLERKITREASURER. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 10.3. Accountinq & Reportinq Policies Revision <br /> Nancy Malecha explained the State Legislature recently approved a bill to <br /> increase the competitive bidding threshold requiring the sealed bid <br /> process from $100,000 to $175,000 effective August 1St. Ms. Malecha <br /> requested the amendment of the City's Accounting and Reporting Policy, <br /> Section Q regarding purchases to reflect this change. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO AMEND THE CITY'S <br /> ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING POLICIES REGARDING <br /> PURCHASES. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3-1. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> OPPOSED. <br /> 11. Other Business <br /> There was no other business. <br /> 12. Adioumment <br /> There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> MOVED TO ADJOURN. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 40. <br /> The meeting of the City Council adjoumed at 8:19 p.m. <br />
