Pequot L�kes Police Monthly Report <br /> June 2018: During the month of June (1�-30th),the Pequot Lakes Police Department has a <br /> record of 338 calls for service. Call types include but are not limited to: <br /> • Alarm <br /> • Agency Assist <br /> • Disturbance <br /> • Driving Complaint <br /> • EMS <br /> • Motorist Assist <br /> • Scam/Con <br /> • Suspicious Activity <br /> • Welfare Check <br /> Notable Calls: <br /> On 6/9/18, OfFicer Ryan Franz was on routine patrol when he observed a vehicle that was <br /> weaving back and forth between the fogs and unable to maintain a consistent speed. Officer <br /> Franz made contact with the owner and noted signs of impairment. He asked him to step out of <br /> the vehicle for field sobriety testing.The male driver refused to submit a PBT(Preliminary <br /> Breath Test) sample. Officer Franz placed him under arrest and 2"d Degree DWI. His vehicle is <br /> pending forfeiture. <br /> On 6/23/18, Officer Matt Jorgens was working a TZD (Towards Zero Deaths) enforcement shift <br /> in Brainerd. Officer Jorgens observed a vehicle that failed to signal a lane change that also had a <br /> non-working brake light. Upon making contact with the female driver, OfFicer Jorgens observed <br /> signs of impairment and asked her step out for field sobriety testing. Female was ultimately <br /> arrested for 4th Degree DWI. <br />
