MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />Mayor Adams thanked the Chamber and volunteers for their efforts <br />in coordinating the Stars and Stripes event. She stated that it was a <br />success. <br />11.3. Outside Meter Payment Plan <br />The City Clerk noted that the City Council has recently eliminated <br />the summer watering policy. She indicated that the Council had <br />requested staff to see if it would be possible to offer a payment plan <br />for those customers who want to purchase a separate meter for <br />watering. The Clerk stated that the utility billing software does allow <br />for payments to be made. She presented the Council with a draft <br />policy that allows customers to purchase a separate meter and <br />make installments up to six months to pay for the meter. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT THE <br />OUTSIDE METER PAYMENT PLAN. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Council Member Ryan stated that he would like to see the policy <br />include a statement that states that any money paid under the <br />program is not refundable. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION <br />TO ADD THAT ANY MONEY PAID UNDER THE PROGRAM IS <br />NON - REFUNDABLE. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 5 -0. <br />12. Other Business <br />There was no other business. <br />`.. <br />
