Chamber Update <br /> Chris Monroe stated she will be pulling the sign committee together to <br /> discuss a couple of items and the Planning Commission will be looking at <br /> the sign ordinance at their May 17"' meeting. Ms. Monroe noted they are <br /> planning Stars and Stripes Days and Bean Hole Days and are looking for <br /> sponsors and added there has been a change to the parade route. <br /> Commissioner Lindholm offered 20 finro-way radios to assist the parade <br /> route staff with communication during the parade. <br /> 10. BLAEDC Update <br /> Sheila Haverkamp stated BLAEDC has approved their 4th loan through the <br /> Unified Fund and have 3 more that are in the process. Ms. Haverkamp <br /> added there is approximately 2.8 million dollars in Unified Fund available <br /> to businesses. <br /> 11. Citv of Jenkins Uqdate <br /> No update. <br /> 12. Other Business <br /> a. Unified Fund Informational Meetinq <br /> Chair Jurchen stated he would like to hold a Unified Fund <br /> informational meeting for local businesses at some point. <br /> b. Invite a Business <br /> Chair Jurchen would like to reach out to the community by inviting a <br /> business to an EDC meeting or have a meeting at a business. The <br /> Commission directed Nancy Malecha to contact Landis Gyr for <br /> such meeting. <br /> 13.
