i4.The proposed use will not destroy any natural or scenic features. There are no <br /> known historical features of major significance on the subject property. <br /> i5. The proposed use,with conditions,will promote the prevention and control of <br /> ground and surface waters. <br /> And subject to the following Conditions: <br /> i. The properry shall maintain a neat and orderly appearance and free of inoperable <br /> equipment. <br /> 2. The property shall have no more than five automobiles, trucks, trailers, etc. or <br /> combination thereof parked outside while awaiting to have work performed them. <br /> 3. All hazardous waste from the automobile repair shop shall be stored and disposed <br /> in accordance with Minnesota Pollution Control Agency standards. Applicant shall <br /> submit a permit as a hazardous substance generator or a copy of the contact with <br /> OSI. <br /> 4. Signage shall be permitted by separate application. <br /> 5. All work on vehicles shall be conducted within an enclosed structure. <br /> 6. A floor drain/sediment trap shall be installed in the auto repair area in accordance <br /> with Minnesota Department of Health's best management practices. The floor <br /> drain shall be connected to a holding tank and pumped regularly. The holding tank <br /> system shall be designed by a licensed SSTS designer. A copy of a <br /> maintenance/pumping contract shall be submitted to the city. The holding tank <br /> system shall be installed prior to the commencement of business. <br /> �. The e�risting vegetation along the north property line shall remain. <br /> All members voted"aye". Glen Wilmes,Animal Husbandry— Discussion <br /> Mr. Burslie e�cplained the Staff Report. Mr.Wilmes was present and informed the <br /> Planning Commission they have been downsizing the animals; two of the pygmy goats <br /> have been removed. Mr.Wilmes further stated a miniature horse is approximately i/3 <br /> the size of a regular horse weighing a maximum of 300 lbs. <br /> Mr. Burslie stated the Planning Commission needs to make a decision how to classify <br /> the miniature horse. Planning Commission Member Norton stated he couldn't find any <br /> information from other communities in Minnesota,but was able to find some <br /> MINUTES � <br /> Pequot Lakes Planning Commission <br /> March i5, zoi8 <br />
