Water/Wastewater Report April 2010 Facility Performance: City Hall 218 - 568 -5222 Fax 218 - 568 -5860 cityhall @pequotlakes- mn.gov Average daily gallons pumped: 84,000 gallons Maximum daily gallons pumped: 136,000 gallons Minimum daily gallons pumped: 54,000 gallons Total monthly gallons pumped: 2,179,000 gallons (as of the 26th) Average daily chlorine concentration: 0.5 mg/l Required chlorine concentration: 0.2 to 0.5 mg/1 Average daily fluoride concentration: 1.1 mg/l Required fluoride concentration: 0.9 mg/1 to 1.5 mg/1 Treatment Chemicals Used for the Month: Operations and Maintenance: 26 lbs Chlorine 7.3 gals Fluoride 5.56 lbs Potassium Permanganate • The MN Department of Health Monthly Fluoridation Report was completed and submitted. • April 7th, Anderson Bros. charged water line behind Super Valu and pressure tested, test passed. • April 12th, met with a water /sewer customer to talk about the Summer Averaging Policy being discontinued. • April 10, attended an MMUA Safety Class in Pine River. • April 16th, turned water off on West Lake Street so DeChantal could make connections to the water service for the new Dairy Queen and install a shut -off. (The curbstop for the Oasis Bldg. was inoperable) Water was off for about 20 minutes. I notified everyone who would be affected ahead of time, and we didn't have any issues. • April 16th, gave a tour of our WTP to Adam Kramer, who works for PCE (Progressive Consulting Engineers) • April 20`h, started exercising our gate valves. • April 26th, dlvd 14 delinquent water /sewer bill notices.
