Pequot Lakes Police Dept. <br />Report to the City Council <br />April 28, 2010 <br />So far for the month of April the Department has logged at least 406 individual ICRs. <br />Current Activities: <br />Also for the month, the Reserves and Fulltime Officers have conducted 681 individual security checks <br />of businesses and homes throughout the month, with 4 open doors found at area businesses. <br />The sale is complete for 2 of the old squads. The Durango went for a bid of $4,625 and the Crown Vic <br />(old #378) a bid of $4,525. The other squad and old city car will be going up for auction, along with two <br />additional forfeited vehicles, in about 3 weeks. <br />Training: <br />April 291h All Fulltime, Part -time and Reserve Officers will take part in the required annual <br />Defensive Tactics training. <br />Fulltime and Part -time Officers will also conduct the FATS training, which is a <br />computerized firearms training simulator — where the officers are "walked through" <br />different scenarios where use of their firearm may and /or could be needed. <br />Significant Cases: <br />The local Graffiti cases: All suspects have been identified and charged. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Jerry Braam <br />Chief of Police <br />
